BY ROADTake the M1 and then the M6, leaving at junction 19 (Manchester and Airport sign). Join A556 and follow Airport signs to M56. Do NOT take the M56
but carry straight on at roundabout on A56. At the first traffic lights (1 mile) turn right for Bowdon/Hale (B5161). Carry on for 1 mile, passing The Quality Hotel on the right. Go through the traffic lights, then right at the mini roundabout into Hale Road (avoiding town centre). Carry on for approximately 1 mile, turning left into Westminster Road (opposite cemetry entrance). Carry straight on for approximately 3/4 mile into Moss Lane - the football ground is on the right. There is no parking at the ground and you are adivsed to park at Blessed Thomas Holford school at a cost of £1.
BY RAILThere are no direct trains from London to Altrincham, the quickest route being to change at Stockport. Exit Altrincham station on the bus station (Interchange) side. (This is to the right with your back to the Manchester direction). Turn immediately left after the booking office and proceed through the bus station and up the narrow inclined footpath to the junction with Moss Lane bridge. Turn left over the railway bridge and then walk straight on, past Tesco (on the right) and the Bridge Inn (on the left). The ground is on the left.
