BY ROADThere are two options when travelling to Croydon. The first is to head through Sidcup to Crittals Corner and take the A224 (Sevenoaks Way) towards Orpington. Follow this past the signs for Orpington and at the traffic lights turn right into Spur Road. This is the A232: remain on this road until you reach the junction with the A23. Turn right onto the A23, Purley Way, towards London. Follow this to the roundabout juntion with the A236 and go straight across into Thornton Road, still the A23. Take the seventh turning on the left into Silverleigh Road and fork left into Trafford Road after 50 yards. This becomes Mayfield Road; follow to the end and turn left onto the track. The ground is just after the scout hut.
Alternatively take the M25 to junction 7, and then turn onto the M23 towards London. This becomes the A23 and follow through Purley to Croydon. Continue towards Thornton Heath, going straight across the roundabout at the junction with the A236 into Thornton Road. Take the seventh turning on the left into Silverleigh Road and fork left into Trafford Road after 50 yards. This becomes Mayfield Road; follow to the end and turn left onto the track. The ground is just after the scout hut.
BY RAILThe nearest station is Thornton Heath, about a 20-minute walk to the ground. Turn left out of the station and follow Brigstock Road to the big roundabout at the junction with the A23. Go straight across the roundabout into Thornton Road and take the second right into Silverleigh Road. After approximately 50 yards fork left into Trafford Road, which becomes Mayfield Road. Follow this to the end, turn left onto the track and the ground is just after the the scout hut.
