BY ROADTake the M1 and then the M6, leaving at junction 4 (Lichfield, NEC). Keep in the left-hand lane of the slip road and take the second slip road (Lichfield). At the roundabout take the third exit (A446 Lichfield) and at the first roundabout take the second exit (A446 Lichfield). Continue on A446 past two sets of traffic lights to a roundabout and join the M42 northbound (Nottingham). Leave M42 at junction 10 (services here) and turn onto the A5 (Tamworth). Leave the A5 at the junction for Bitterscote (WARNING - sharp bend on slip road). At the first roundabout, take the third exit (Tamworth Castle, Sainsbury's on the left) and at the next roundabout take the fourth exit (Ankerside multi-storey). The Ladybridge Beefeater is on your left. Continue with the Snowdome on your right to a roundabout. Take the second exit (Nottingham, Burton, Nuneaton) and at the next roundabout take the first exit (Amington, Glascote). At the next roundabout take the second exit (Glascote B5000) and at the next roundabout take the second exit(Kettlebrook). The Lamb is the first right turn, about 50 yards from the roundabout.
BY RAILFrom Tamworth station, walk along the approach road to the roundabout and turn left. Cross the road leading under the railway bridge. Leaving Jewson's on your right, walk along Offa Drive past Aldi to a roundabout. Turn left leaving Bolebridge Garage on your left. Cross the river with the railway viaduct on your left and follow the footpath to the left into Amington Road. Cross before you reach the railway viaduct and continue along the path, keeping the viaduct on your left. When you reach the roadside railings, turn right towards the Snowdome. At the end of the railings, turn left and cross the road. Once across the road, turn left along the footpath. The entrance to The Lamb is 50 yards ahead on your right.
